'C Foundation' tops L.A. film shoots for week

Offlot production in La remained solid a week ago with 649 times of shooting -Up 12% in the 2011 weekly average. Features acquired ground by 35% and spots were up 4% while TV slid 10%. Overall production in La edged lower 2% in comparison with similar week this past year, based on figures provided Tuesday through the FilmL.A. enabling agency. Indie feature "The C Foundation" was probably the most active film shooting a week ago, with lensing at qualities situated on Carroll Avenue in Angelino Levels together with each day in the Mountain View Graveyard in Altadena. Additional features shooting in your area incorporated "Directing," "Wise Ass," "Susie Chambers," "The Change," and "The Vortex/Crazy Town." TV shooting was brought by Fox's drama "Touch" with 13 days. Other TV shoots incorporated "Easy Chinese 2," "Germany's Next Top Model," "Hollywood Women," "Stevie TV," "The Greatest Loser," "Bones," "Ringer," "The Customer List" and "The Mentalist." As always, TV centered activity with 404 days. Time must start spiking later this month because of pilot production. "According to work volume, we have not seen the hurry," stated FilmL.A. spokesperson Philip Sokoloski. "A minimal degree of pilot production activity now happens here all year round, though."
