On stub hub what does it mean when the seats aren't provided by the seller?

I am trying to buy tickets to this concert for my friend and I, but
the seats aren't provided by the seller on stub hub. Does this mean if
I buy the seats will my friend and I still have seats next to each
other or what? Please help thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
